Chairman of Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies and the Secretary General of the Ataa Movement
He was previously part of the Islamic Dawa Party. Alfayyadh receive a bachelor’s degree in electric engineering from the University of Mosul in 1977. He served as the Acting Minister of State for National Security Affairs and the Director of the Office of the Vice President of Iraq. He was a member of several institutions and committees such as the Iraqi National Assembly, the Council of Representatives on behalf of the National Iraqi Alliance and the Supreme Committee for National Reconciliation. Alfayyadh was also the Chairman of the Higher Technical Committee for Communications and Information Security. He has participated in most of the Iraqi national reconciliation conferences in Finland, Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey as well as numerous conferences organised by Arab and international think tanks.
