Professor of International Relations at the University of Qatar
He has worked as a lecturer and academic researcher in several American, Arab and Jordanian universities. He has published research papers and books in Arabic and English. His research interests include international relations, research methodology, US policy toward the Middle East, Arab Gulf security and political and economic development in the Arab region. Hayajneh has authored a number of books, including Jordan-GCC Relations: 1980-2004, U.S. Jordan Relations: The King Abdullah II Era: An Analytical Study, and Great Powers Diplomacy in the International System toward the Arab World.
